Vines GP Clinic is seeking a friendly, skilled and reliable Casual Medical Receptionist to join our busy medical practice at 196 William Street, Northbridge WA.

The Medical Receptionist will be responsible for providing a welcoming and qualified experience for patients while supporting the doctors and clinical team with the smooth day-to-day operation of the practice.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
Greet patients and provide friendly, professional customer service.
Answer incoming telephone calls and respond to patient enquiries.
Manage patient appointments, bookings, cancellations and recalls.
Register new patients and maintain accurate patient information.
Process Medicare claims, payments and other administrative transactions.
Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with privacy requirements.
Liaise effectively with doctors, nurses and other healthcare specialists.
Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence.
Assist with general administrative and reception duties.
Maintain a clean,



organised and welcoming reception area.
Provide support to the practice team as required.

About You
Has previous medical reception or healthcare administration experience
Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Is confident, organised and able to multitask in a busy environment
Has a professional and caring approach to patients
Works well both independently and as part of a team
Has strong attention to detail
Is familiar with medical practice software and Medicare processes (desirable).

Previous medical reception experience is highly regarded, however training may be provided to the right candidate.
