Duties
Administer the Companion Animals Act and care for stray animals
Investigate and resolve customer compliance requests and complaints
Enforce Shire parking, footway, and public place regulations
Conduct in office sewage management inspections and issue approvals
Deliver community education campaigns on animal welfare and dumping
Provide shared on-call ranger coverage and leave relief
What You'll Bring to the Beat
Certificate IV or higher in Local Government (or progress toward)
Dog handling experience or relevant certification
Current First Aid Certificate
Knowledge of the Protection of the Environment Operations Act 1997
Strong track record in community education and conflict resolution
