Established in 1994, CLPM Pty Ltd is a West Australian owned and operated Registered Building Company specialising in heritage conservation and restoration, adaptive repurposing of heritage structures and new-build works demanding highly specific end use or artistic expression in the commercial and public sectors. We have a strong pipeline of works across the Perth metro area and are looking for an additional experienced and career- focussed Carpenter Foreperson to our team. Our projects are varied and interesting providing opportunity to participate in and supervise structural remediation, restoration, first and second fix carpentry works.
Qualifications & experience
Experienced tradesperson with an interest in heritage works or wanting to develop an interest in this area.
Minimum 5 years of carpentry experience
Must have standard carpentry tool kit
Completed carpentry apprenticeship or trade qualification is mandatory
Valid White Card (Construction Induction Card)
Australian citizenship or permanent residency
Current Australian Driver's License
Tasks & responsibilities
Restoration and conservation of heritage timbers,
including windows, doors, flooring and structural elements.
Custom recent-build works, first and second fix.
Working with an experienced project management team focussed on quality outcomes, safety and ethical practice.
Lead site teams, coordinate specialist trades and help shape safety, quality, programme and delivery outcomes—not simply supervise daily tasks.
Take ownership of high-quality conservation and specialist construction works that preserve Western Australia’s architectural legacy.
Advantages
Competitive pay rate of up to $65.00 per hour, plus company vehicle (or car allowance), plus Super, plus LSL fund contribution.
Standard 40 hours per week assured, Mon-Fri.
Maintain work-life balance - whilst there is chance for additional hours at times for those who seek this, it is not generally required
