Excel Skylight Manufacturing is a manufacturer of custom and standard skylights to our parent company Natural Lighting Products. Join the team at Excel as a Full-Time Sheet Metal Worker in our Taree facility. In this role, you will be responsible for the fabrication and assembly of high-quality sheet metal, aluminium and stainless steel products that contribute to the company's cutting-edge natural Lighting solutions.
This role may suit an experienced first class sheet metal worker that is looking to relocate to the Manning Valley area from Sydney or Brisbane.
What you'll be doing
Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to fabricate skylight units
Operate power tools, machinery, and equipment to cut, bend, and shape sheet metal
Assemble sheet metal components into finished products
Maintain a clean and organised work area to ensure safety and efficiency
Collaborate with the production team to achieve daily goals and meet deadlines
What we're looking for
Relevant trade qualification or equivalent experience as a Sheet Metal Worker
Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
Experienced in operating sheet metal fabrication equipment
Robust attention to detail and ability to work with high levels of accuracy
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Able to work effectively in a team environment and follow safety procedures
