An exciting opportunity is available for experienced APS5-level specialists to join a Federal Government team undertaking an important compensation review program. Working within a dedicated remediation team, you will assess and review compensation claims, analyse supporting evidence and prepare transparent, well-reasoned recommendations in line with relevant legislation and policy.
Your recent role
In this role, you will:
Conduct detailed reviews of compensation claims
Analyse evidence and complex information
Prepare written recommendations in accordance with legislation and policy
Identify issues, risks and inconsistencies and propose appropriate solutions
Liaise with internal stakeholders to gather supporting information
Draft high-quality advice, reports and other written material
Support consistent, high-integrity decision-making
The nature of the work may involve exposure to sensitive or confronting material, so resilience,
emotional maturity and the ability to maintain sound judgement and professionalism will be important.
