Truflo Pumps is a leading manufacturer of high-performance pumping systems supplying the mining, industrial and infrastructure sectors across Australia. Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Welder / Fabricator to join our team in Bathurst Team .

This is a hands‑on workshop‑based role working on pump systems, pipework and structural components used in demanding mining environments.

What You’ll Be Doing n
n
MIG welding on structural steel, pipework and pump components
n
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and welding specifications
n
Preparing and setting up materials for welding
n
Aligning, clamping and assembling components prior to welding
n
Ensuring all welds meet A.S1554 standards and company quality requirements
n
Inspecting welds and identifying defects
n
Grinding,
finishing and preparing surfaces for coating or painting
n
Maintaining welding equipment and ensuring a safe work area
n
Supporting workshop projects and working collaboratively with the fabrication team
n
Contributing ideas to improve workshop processes and efficiency
n
What We’re Looking For nn
Proven MIG welding experience
n
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
n
Experience welding pipe and structural components
n
Robust attention to detail and pride in workmanship
n
Ability to work both independently and in a team
n
Commitment to workplace safety
n
Welding certification or trade qualification advantageous
n
TIG welding experience is a bonus
n
