We manufacture and supply a broad range of forks, attachments, and accessories to the Materials Handling, Construction and Automated equipment Market.
About the role: n
We have an exciting chance for driven and committed Machining & Fabrication Supervisor to join our production team on a full-time basis. Reporting to the Production Manager, this role will be suited to someone who is skilled at production supervising and has a passion to promote and develop a positive culture. Trades experts with previous Team Leader experience are encouraged to apply! Experience in a warehousing workplace is not preferred.
Key duties of the role: n

Be safety-driven, develop and promote a safe culture, foster strong collaboration across production teams and supporting departments.

Have an absolute commitment to product quality and delivery, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Proactively identifies issues, implements corrective measures,
and develops preventive strategies to minimise recurrence.
n
Knowledge of hydraulics, fabrication, and the ability to read drawings.
n
Planning, managing and controlling respective production section.
n
The ability to drive the Cascade values and create a positive culture with a priority on developing and empowering the production staff members.
n
Confidence to give relevant and sufficient instructions and decision making in relation to production issues.
n
Flexibility in meeting customer requirements.
n
Willingness to work collaboratively as part of the team and to leader/supervise the team.
n
Qualifications and experience n
Minimum 3 years of proven relevant experience in a quick-paced manufacturer environment, (experience in a warehousing environment is not preferred)
n
Qualification or experience in Manufacturing, Engineering, or metals trades industry
