Our client is a leading independent Australian manufacturer and supplier of roll-formed steel roofing, cladding, rainwater, structural and fencing products .
About the Role n
Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will assist with the day‑to‑day organisation and performance of the manufacturing department.
n This is a hands‑on leadership position , where you will work alongside the production team while coordinating resources, maintaining workflow and driving a strong safety, quality and performance culture.
Key Responsibilities n
n
Assist with daily production planning, workflow and resource coordination.
n
Lead and support a performance‑driven, customer‑focused production team.
n
Monitor safety performance, pre‑starts and compliance across the manufacturing floor.
n
Ensure customer orders are produced accurately and on time, meeting DIFOT targets.
n
Monitor production targets, scrap, waste, quality and product errors.
n
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and improved manufacturing efficiencies.
n
Provide leadership, training and development to team members.
n
About You n
To be successful, you will have:
n
n
2+ years' manufacturing experience, with an interest in progressing into leadership,
n
Production experience within the building materials industry – essential.
n
High Risk Forklift Licence – essential.
n
Experience operating overhead cranes.
n
Experience in the roll-forming industry – highly regarded.
n
Solid understanding of production planning, quality, safety and continuous improvement.
n
Solid communication and people leadership skills.
n
A proactive mindset with a genuine desire to improve production performance and processes.
n

$40 per hour + super

Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm
n
Occasional Saturday morning shifts
