This position starts with a three-month casual period, with the opportunity to move into a salaried role with a market-market-competitive salary thereafter. You will specialise in Italian cuisine with a strong focus on the pasta and main course sections.
Key responsibilities
Managing the pasta or main course sections during service
Preparing and cooking Italian dishes with consistency and attention to detail
Organising mise en place to ensure smooth, efficient service
Maintaining high standards of food safety, cleanliness and stock rotation
Working closely with the kitchen team
About you
At least three years of experience as a chef
Robust experience in Italian cuisine, particularly pasta and main courses
Excellent organisation and the ability to work efficiently during busy services
A reliable, professional approach and a team-focused attitude
