Coordinate recruitment, advertising, interviews, reference checks and onboarding.
Prepare employment contracts, letters and other HR documentation.
Maintain accurate employee records and compliance requirements in Employment Hero.
Support managers and employees with general HR, performance and employee relations matters.
Assist with staff engagement, training, wellbeing and workforce initiatives.
Support HR policies, reporting, audits and continuous improvement activities.
Assist with community events, health promotion and organisational activities.
Maintain confidentiality and comply with WHS requirements, policies, procedures and organisational values.
Travel regionally or interstate when required.
About You
Previous experience in an HR Officer, HR Administrator or similar role.
Knowledge of Australian employment legislation and HR practices.
Strong communication, relationship-building and organisational skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Strong attention to detail, written communication and record-keeping skills.
Ability to manage competing priorities and maintain confidentiality.
Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office and HR systems.
Experience working with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people.
Commitment to culturally safe practice, WHS, teamwork and continuous improvement.
Demonstrated commitment to professional development, quality improvement and safe, accountable professional practice.
Experience using Employment Hero or equivalent HRIS system desirable
Licences, Clearances and/or Certificates
National Police Clearance (less than 6 months old)
Working with Children Clearance (WWCC)
Valid WA Driver Licence
Qualifications in Administration, Human Resources or similar industry
