Role Description:
This is a full-time, on-site Speech Pathologist role based in Sydney, NSW. The Speech Pathologist will assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for children, adolescents, and adults. Day-to-day tasks include conducting comprehensive assessments, developing individualized therapy plans, delivering one-on-one and small-group interventions, and monitoring client progress. The role involves collaborating with psychologists, occupational therapists, families, schools, and other stakeholders to ensure coordinated care. The Speech Pathologist will also prepare clinical documentation, reports for Medicare and NDIS,



and contribute to quality improvement activities and professional development within the practice.

Qualifications:
Candidates should possess strong skills in Speech Therapy and the assessment and treatment of Speech and Communication Disorders.
Candidates should possess expertise in managing Language Disorders, including receptive and expressive language difficulties.
Candidates should possess competence in the assessment and treatment of Dysphagia and other swallowing-related concerns, where clinically relevant.
Candidates should possess excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage clients of all ages and collaborate with families and multidisciplinary teams.
Candidates should possess a recognized degree in Speech Pathology, current membership or eligibility for membership with Speech Pathology Australia, and any required professional registration in NSW.
Candidates should possess strong organizational skills, the ability to manage a varied caseload, and a commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development.
Candidates should possess eligibility to work with Medicare and NDIS clients, including current Working With Children Check and National Police Check, or willingness to obtain them.
