I’m working with a technology business looking for a Senior Cloud Developer to join their R&D; team in Cambridge. You’ll be working as part of a cross-functional engineering team, designing and building highly available SaaS services within a modern Azure environment.
What you’ll be doing: n
n
Designing and developing scalable cloud services in Azure
n
Building and supporting microservices and REST APIs using C#
n
Working with Kubernetes / AKS and containerised applications
n
Contributing to CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation
n
Working closely with other technical teams across the wider platform
n
Helping identify and resolve technical issues across production environments
n
Taking ownership of what you build and how it operates in production
n
Supporting and mentoring less experienced engineers
n
What they’re looking for: nn
Robust commercial experience developing cloud-based applications
n
Strong knowledge of Azure – compute, storage, security, monitoring and diagnostics
n
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes , ideally AKS
n
Strong C# / .NET development experience
n
Experience building microservices and RESTful APIs
n
Experience working within a CI/CD setting
n
A proactive approach with strong ownership and problem-solving skills
n
Positive communication and collaboration skills
n
Nice to have: nn
Angular or other modern frontend frameworks
n
Experience mentoring junior engineers
n
Experience with SaaS platforms
