The RoleWe are looking for a detail-driven Accounts & Payroll Officer to join our Finance team and help keep our numbers in check as we scale.
You will own day-to-day accounts and payroll across our Australian and Canadian operations, working closely with the Finance Manager and broader team.
What You'll DoPerform bank reconciliations across multiple company accounts in Australia and Canada, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and matchedManage end-to-end accounts payable, including processing supplier invoices, verifying coding, and arranging timely paymentsProcess and reconcile company credit card transactions from digital expense management platforms, collecting supporting invoices and ensuring expenses are correctly recordedSupport payroll processing for both Australian and international employees,



ensuring payroll data is accurate and up to dateMaintain payroll records for new hires, terminations, and employee changesAssist with month-end close, including preparing journals, prepayments, accruals, and supporting the team with financial reportingMonitor outstanding invoices, follow up on overdue payments, and prepare and issue invoices when required✅ What You'll BringBachelor's degree in Accounting or FinanceMinimum 2 years' experience in bank reconciliation, accounts payable, and payroll processingHands-on experience with Xero accounting softwareStrong attention to detail and accuracy when working with financial dataAbility to thrive in a fast-moving workplace - experience in SaaS or tech is a bonus Perks & BenefitsPrime CBD locationHybrid work environmentFun office culture — open plan space, birthday celebrations, team events, monthly pilatesAccess to EAP mental health & wellbeing servicesParental leave top-up pay?
