Join our dedicated Alcohol & Other Drugs (AOD) Withdrawal Management Team in Rowes Bay, Townsville, where every shift is an opportunity to support people through life-changing recovery journeys.Working within a supportive and purpose-driven environment, you'll provide specialised detox nursing care, clinical support, and compassionate treatment to individuals taking the first steps toward recovery.About the RoleAs an Enrolled Nurse, you'll play a key role in delivering safe, high-quality withdrawal management services, supporting clients' physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing throughout the detox process.You'll work closely with Registered Nurses, Medical Officers, and multidisciplinary teams to provide person-centred care that empowers recovery and promotes positive outcomes.What You'll Be Doing Supporting clients through alcohol and drug withdrawal programs Conducting clinical observations, assessments, and monitoring withdrawal symptoms Administering medications and treatments in line with clinical guidelines Assisting with admissions, discharges, case notes,



and clinical documentation Supporting clients experiencing mental health and addiction-related challenges Collaborating with Medical Officers and healthcare professionals Providing compassionate, culturally safe, and recovery-focused care Contributing to a positive team culture and continuous improvement initiativesWhat You'll BringCurrent registration as an Enrolled Nurse with AHPRAMinimum 2 years' nursing experience, ideally within AOD, Mental Health, Detox, Community Health, or related settingsStrong clinical assessment and observation skillsKnowledge of withdrawal management practices and recovery principlesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to manage challenging situations with professionalism and empathyCommitment to delivering person-centred careCurrent Driver LicenceWillingness and ability to work AM and PM shifts across the week including weekendsCurrent Queensland Blue Card (or ability to obtain) What we offerThe Salvos offer eligible employee's a well-balanced package of meaningful advantages including: Salary packaging up to $15,900 tax free + $2,650 meal entertainment benefit.Flexible working arrangementsAccess to EAP and health & wellness initiativesAboriginal and Torres Strait Islander supports such as: Burra Burra Network (pastoral care network), Cultural Events,
