The Opportunity:LVT People is
looking for a
Data Analyst - Python for our enterprise and government clients.As a Data Analyst, you will be required to work within the operational Data and Analytics team, which involves members of a multi-disciplinary team.
You will play a pivotal role in translating complex data
into actionable insights using Python.Responsibilities:Data collection: Gather data from various sources, including databases, APIs and external datasets.
Develop & Main data pipelines to ensure a steady flow of dataData cleaning and Pre-processing: Clean, pre-process and validate data to ensure its accuracy and reliability.
Handle missing data, outliers, and inconsistencies effectivelyData Analysis: Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
Conduct statistical analysis to derive meaningful conclusionsReporting: Generate regular reports and ad-hoc analyses for stakeholders.
Present findings and insights through charts, graphs and dashboards to technical and non-technical audiences in a clear and concise mannerData Quality Assurance: Implement data quality checks and validation processes to ensure data integrity.
Monitor data pipelines for consistency and accuracyCollaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, data engineers and decision-makers to understand data requirements and deliver insightsContinuous learning:
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in data analysis and PythonRequirementsSelection Criteria:EssentialProven experience of 3 years as a Data Analyst with a core focus on PythonProficiency in Python programming for data analysis tasks (Pandas, NumPy,
etc.
)Basic
understanding of SQL for querying and manipulating databasesFamiliarity
with data visualization libraries such as Matplotlib or SeabornExperience working within a SCRUM or SAFE agile teamExperience working within Jira and confluenceExcellent
communication skills to convey complex findings in a clear and understandable
mannerAbility
to work independently and as part of a teamBachelor's or Postgraduate degree in a related field such as Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or
a relevant quantitative disciplineDesirableExperience
with version control systems (e.g., Git)Exposure
to machine learning concepts and toolsPrior
experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP) and ETL processesExperience
