VMware Consultant Key Responsibilities:•Design and implement standard VMware solutions•Lead small projects or workstreams•Manage VMware infrastructure including compute, storage, and networking•Handle cluster configurations and performance tuning•Support hybrid/cloud-based VMware environments•Create and maintain technical documentationRequired Skills:•Strong hands-on experience with VMware vSphere•Solid understanding of HA, DRS, lifecycle management•Experience with distributed switches and NIC teaming•Storage knowledge including SAN/NAS and VMware vSAN•Exposure to VMware NSX (basic to intermediate)•Backup/DR solutions and cloud platforms (VMware Cloud, Azure VMware Solution, etc.)Troubleshooting Skills:•Diagnose CPU, memory, and storage performance issues•Resolve cluster, host, and network configuration issues•Log analysis and root cause identificationCertifications:•VCP (mandatory), working towards VCAP preferredAdditional Notes:•Expected to deliver independently•Solid ownership of assigned tasks/projects
