Working with cross-functional teams, you will turn business needs into clear data solutions and actionable insights What you'll be doing Ensure data models and dashboards are up to date with BGL client compliance and business reporting requirements Stay up to date with developments in DBT, AWS and analytics engineering and apply improvements where there is opportunitiesContinuously look for opportunities to improve data quality, pipeline reliability and dashboard usability for BGL internal teamsCollaborate with cross-functional teams such as engineering, product,



sales and operations to define metrics and deliver data solutionsDrive regular reporting cycles including monthly and quarterly business reviewsSupport stakeholders to define metrics, calculation logic, and reporting requirements before translating them into DBT modelsInvestigate and resolve data discrepancies, anomalies, and dashboard issues communicated by internal teamsManage data ingestion from third-party sources through Airbyte, including GA4, Google Sheets, and other SaaS platforms as neededDeploy and monitor DBT jobs through Jenkins CI/CD, review run logs to troubleshoot failures, and collaborate with DevOps team to resolve pipeline or access issues Build and maintain internal dashboards and charts in Apache Superset, including managing users, roles, dataset access, and row-level security controlsWhat we're looking forA formal qualification of a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Data Science, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field3 years of experience in a Senior Data Analyst role5 years of experience in a Data Analyst roleExperience using data technologies like DBT, Hadoop, Spark/PySpark,



or Athena/PrestoExperience with AWS cloud or similarExcellent problem-solving skills with an entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work independentlyExpert communication skills with an ability to influence cross functional teams and leadersUnderstanding of Superannuation legislation and compliance requirements is nice to haveAbility to effectively prioritise tasks to achieve deadlinesStrong interpersonal skillsSolid understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile methodologyCulture & Benefits We take pride in continuously building and improving our culture, and we welcome people who share our values.
