Position Summary:
We're hiring an Accountant with at least 2 years' Australian public practice experience to join our Mackay team.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and review complex individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returnsPrepare and review financial statements, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standardsCommunicate directly with clients and build strong relationshipsManage your allocated work and deadlinesWork alongside junior accountants who support your workloadReview supporting work and provide guidance where required
Skills:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in public accountingStrong technical knowledge across tax and financial reportingEnjoys being client-facing, confident dealing directly with clients and technically soundStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent attention to detail and organisational skillsSuperior verbal and written communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesProficiency in accounting software Xero HandiTax experience advantageousKarbon workflow experience is advantageousHigh level of integrity and professionalism
