An alternative commercial law firm operating outside the traditional partnership model is seeking an experienced lawyer to head up their Corporate practice, based in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane. This is a rare chance to lead the business development, performance and direction of the firm’s Corporate practice across offices in Australia, New Zealand and the UK.

About the Position n
You will:

Work closely with the CEO, Executive team and other Practice Heads
n
Lead, mentor and oversee work for the high-performing Corporate team
n
Grow a profitable and sustainable pipeline of matters by originating recent clients and deepening relationships with existing clients.
n
Drive operational excellence, AI and innovation initiatives, and help shape the firms position in the market.
n
About you n
We are Seeking Someone With:
n
n
Impressive Corporate law and transactional experience
n
Prior experience in a Partner, Principal, Practice Head or Senior Corporate Lawyer role
n
Demonstrated track record of business development and an active network/referral base
n
Experience leading a team of lawyers, with a genuine passion for building a strong practice group.
