We are currently seeking an experienced Survey Manager to join our project delivery team, working on a complex, quick paced construction environment.Your OpportunityAs a Survey Manager, you will be focused on leading the survey and data management function and coordinating all survey control, model design and survey activities.
As a senior member of the project management team, you will lead the survey and data management function and direct the survey requirements of the construction, supervision, quality and commercial teams.We are seeking candidates who are comfortable working on site in regional Queensland, in project environments, with roles predominantly operating on a 15:6 roster and aligned to key project delivery schedules.Key ResponsibilitiesManaging project survey operation requirements including total station, GPS,



machine guidance and laser scanning technologiesOrganising and working with subcontracted survey crewsImplementation of project survey processes including survey control networks, detailed design survey, construction set-out, as-built survey, survey data management systems and QA requirementsDevelopment of machine controlOur Minimum Requirements For This Role AreIdeally, over 5 years' experience as a Survey Manager on civil and infrastructure projectsCertification in SurveyingProven experience managing a surveying teamCompetency in survey software packages such as 12d, TerramodelCompetency in CAD/drafting software packages such as Autocad, MicrostationWe particularly welcome and encourage applications from Indigenous Peoples, women, the LGBTQ+ community, mature workers, Veterans and active-duty armed forces, people with disabilities and people from different cultural backgrounds.
