Our client is seeking an experienced Site Manager to support the delivery of distribution underground projects.
Based out of Brooklyn, the role will require regular travel to project sites across Melbourne's western suburbs.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and coordinate civil contractors undertaking conduit installation and associated civil worksCoordinate cable hauling, cable installation and reinstatement activitiesManage contractor variations, claims and commercial mattersMonitor construction progress against project schedules and milestonesEnsure site activities meet required safety, quality and delivery standardsCoordinate interfaces between civil, electrical and commissioning activitiesWork closely with Project Managers, Underground Joiners,



contractors and delivery teamsResolve day-to-day site issues and support successful project deliveryKey RequirementsStrong experience across underground electricity infrastructure or utility construction projectsExperience coordinating civil and electrical construction activitiesStrong contractor and subcontractor management capabilityExperience managing variations, claims and site-based commercial issuesGood understanding of construction safety, quality and schedulingStrong stakeholder coordination and communication skillsExperience across distribution or sub-transmission projects highly regardedVESI training/qualifications highly regardedComfortable travelling regularly to project sites across Melbourne's western suburbs
