Trojan Recruitment Group is currently seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters.

n

The role will commence as a casual role for 6 weeks and then you will move to permanency with Trojan Recruitment Group and receive the added perks; excellent hourly rate, sick leave, annual leave, long service leave and BIRST redundancy payments.

Duties will include: n

The identification of defective or worn mechanical components or equipment
n
Repair/replacement of work/faulty components
n
Precision measuring instruments to check parts for accuracy and fit
n
Experience with Hydraulics and Pneumatics
n
Maintain various systems onboard defence war vessels
n
Lathes and Milling machines
n

The successful candidate must have: nn
Must hold Australian Trade Qualifications- Fitting & Machining
n
Must hold Australian Citizenship
n
Must have a current Police Clearance (within 3 months)
n




Must have current Confined Space (within 2 years)
n
Must hold current White CardCurrent resume with 2 checkable work references
n
Extensive mechanical maintenance experience within defence, marine, mining, or industrial maintenance sector.
n
Safety focus at all times
n
Experience in a similar position
n
Reliable transport to and from work
n
Participate in pre-employment medical prior to commencement
n
Live in Adelaide
n
