$33.13 per hour | Part Time Higher Duties

The Chance n

The Attractions People Specialist is the central point of contact for Attractions team members by overseeing day-to-day team member management, providing consistent engagement, support and coordination of the department. This higher duties relief position will fulfil the role 3 days per week and during periods of the full time People Specialist’s leave.

Key Responsibilities n

n
Operate as the primary contact point for Attraction team members communication, ensuring consistent support and engagement is provided
n
Provide input into to the Park Supervisors and Training Coordinator regarding team member performance and progression suitability
n
Manage team member enquiries and accountability
n
Coordinate daily ride operational requirements ensure skill coverage is met
n
Facilitate team member meetings, feedback, performance evaluations and reviews
n
Coordinate the operation of attractions for events and night functions
n
Investigate team member matters in consultation with the Park Supervisor and People & Culture
n




Coordinate team schedules as required, including leave requests, shift changes, UKG and meeting arrangements
n
Assist with the development and succession planning team members within Attractions through mentoring, guiding and coaching
n
Assigned administrative tasks as required
n
Assist in the planning and execution of the recruitment process
n

Exceptional people management skills and personal communication

High level of confidentiality and professionalism
n
Willing to complete training courses that support the role such as Mental Health First Aid, Recruitment, Annual Reviews & Performance Discussion.
n
Previous experience in a leadership role, developing and managing team members
n
Strong administrative ability and computer skills
n
Exceptional organisational skills
n
An understanding of workforce management and software
n
Ability to use initiative to solve problems quickly and efficiently
n
Previous experience in Attractions department is advantageous.
n
