nWe are seeking an experienced DevOps Specialist for an initial 12-month contract , working within a complex, highly secure technology workplace. This is an opportunity to contribute to the development of secure, scalable and reliable technology capabilities.n
About the Role
n
nAs a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for building and setting up development tools and infrastructure , supporting the full software development lifecycle, and driving improvements across deployment, automation, cloud and security.n
Key responsibilities include: n

Design and implement robust DevOps and security solutions .
n
Build, maintain and optimise CI/CD pipelines to improve automation, security and efficiency.
n
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security best practices.
n
Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities.
n
Monitor and improve system security, performance and reliability.
n
Work with container orchestration and cloud technologies .
n




Support automation and infrastructure improvements across the development lifecycle.
n
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
n
Identify and help remediate security threats and vulnerabilities.
n

About You You will ideally have: n
n

n
Robust experience as a DevOps Engineer / DevOps Specialist .
n
Proven experience with CI/CD, cloud platforms, infrastructure and automation .
n
Strong knowledge of container orchestration and modern DevOps practices.
n
Experience implementing security controls across development and deployment environments.
n
Knowledge of security assessments, vulnerability management and security best practices.
n
Robust communication and collaboration skills.
n
Experience working in highly secure or regulated environments is desirable.
n
Current NV1 or NV2 security clearance is essential.
n
