Our client, who is large national retial business located in Sydney's CBD is in need of an Fixed Assets Officer to join their team on a four-six month contract. The role will focus on capex processing and they are looking for someone with experience in this space.
Key responsibilities: n
n
Work through a backlog of fixed asset capitalisation
n
Review invoices and project costs to determine what should be capitalised and the appropriate asset type/class.
n
Follow up with internal stakeholders where invoice details are unclear.
n
Capitalise assets in Outstanding Plains (ERP), including the relevant coding and asset details.
n
Ensure assets are accurately recorded in the Fixed Asset Registry and ready for depreciation.
n
The successful applicant will have: nn
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
n
Experience with local hands-on capex processing
n
Intermediate excel skills
n
At least 2 years experience in a similar role
n
