The prospect n

We're partnering with a leading Australian financial services organisation on a major engineering program: building a next-generation cloud platform from the ground up. It's a large-scale re-architecture that will underpin the organisations AI and digital ambitions for years to come.

What you'll do n

n
Build and evolve high-performance services and APIs in modern C# and .NET
n
Design and deliver cloud infrastructure as code with Terraform , including reusable modules for other teams to adopt
n
Architect and build solutions across AWS compute, networking and data services
n
Take full ownership of what you build, from design through to production
n
Ramp up quickly and contribute from day one
n
Help shape the platform's architecture, engineering standards and performance
n
Make AI tools a core part of how you analyse problems and write code
n

What you'll bring nn
Extensive commercial experience with C# and .NET Core ,



including APIs and microservices
n
Robust hands-on Terraform experience, ideally including building and versioning reusable modules
n
Broad, practical AWS knowledge across networking, IAM, compute, data and security
n
Experience designing and building CI/CD pipelines, not just using them
n
A robust grounding in software design principles such as SOLID and Clean Architecture
n
Solid experience with relational or document databases (e.g. Postgres, Aurora, SQL Server)
n
A proven track record of taking complex systems from concept to production
n
The ability to turn high-level requirements into well-designed, working solutions with minimal guidance
n

Nice to have nn
Amazon Bedrock or production GenAI/agentic experience
n
AWS data and streaming services (e.g. Athena, Glue, Kinesis)
n
Scripting in Python, Bash or PowerShell
n
Observability tooling (e.g. Grafana, Prometheus)
n
Database migration tools (e.g. Liquibase, Flyway)
