We are looking for an experienced Forklift driver to join the team at Andrews Meat Industries. We have 3 permanent full time roles available based at our Lidcombe site and would suit someone who can exercise caution and a high standard of safety.
Work hours: n
06:00am - 02:00pm
n
09:00am - 05:00pm
n
04:30am - 12:30pm
Responsibilities: n
n
Use a forklift to assist with and maintain effective operations in the warehouse
n
Receiving goods in the yard area (meat, dry goods and chemical)
n
Stack empty pallets away
n
Sorting and grouping different types of pallets
n
Work in and around a freezer environment.
n
Stock management for dry goods area
n
Daily maintenance of yard to ensure it is clean and tidy
n
Co-ordinating AMI and CFS receiving in the yard
n
Report any incidents appropriately
n
About you: nn
High reach Forklift driving experience with a current licence (A must - you will be required to bring this to interview)
n
Minimum 1 year of forklift driving experience is required
n
Keen eye for detail, especially when working to strict timelines
n
Excellent communications skills
n
Loves to work as part of a team and achieve shared goals
n
Australian citizenship or permanent residency is required, (or if you have a temporary visa it must have an expiry date of no earlier than June 2027)
