THE ROLE n

We are partnering with a leading Australian consumer focused digital business seeking an experienced iOS Developer to join a high performing mobile engineering team on an initial 9 month contract, with strong potential for extension.

n

You'll be working on large scale, customer facing mobile applications used by millions of users, helping deliver current features, enhance existing functionality, resolve defects, and contribute to the ongoing evolution of a critical digital platform.

RESPONSIBILITIES n

n
Design, develop and maintain native iOS applications using Swift.
n
Build and deliver new customer-facing features and enhancements.
n
Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve production issues and bugs.
n
Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers and Engineers across multiple teams.
n
Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
n
Ensure application performance, reliability and scalability.
n
Work across the full software development lifecycle from design through to deployment and support.
n




Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the mobile engineering function.
n

REQUIRED SKILLS nn
Proven commercial experience developing native iOS applications.
n
Strong expertise in Swift and modern iOS development frameworks.
n
Experience building and supporting large scale customer facing mobile applications.
n
Experience with Kotlin and a solid understanding of cross platform mobile development concepts.
n
Experience integrating APIs and backend services.
n
Strong understanding of mobile application architecture and design patterns.
n
Experience working within Agile delivery settings.
n
Excellent problem solving and stakeholder communication skills.
n

NICE TO HAVE nn
Experience working on digital products with large active user bases.
n
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated testing practices.
n
Experience contributing to app performance and optimisation initiatives.
n
Knowledge of up-to-date mobile engineering practices and DevOps principles.
