Our client is an established specialist family law practice with a reputation for practical, positive outcomes for people going through some of the hardest periods of their lives. They are looking for a Family Lawyer with 7+ years' PAE who wants to run their own matters in a team that backs them.

About the role:

You will work across a broad range of family law matters,



building on the experience you already have while sharpening your advocacy and client management.
Parenting and children's matters
Property and financial settlements, including complex ones
Separation, divorce and de facto relationship matters
Spousal maintenance and child support
Domestic and family violence matters
Mediation, negotiation and dispute resolution
Strategic advice to clients
Drafting, file management and court preparation

You will be trusted to run your own matters, with experienced colleagues there when you need them.

What you'll bring:
7+ years' PAE in family law in private practice
Strong experience across both parenting and property matters
Excellent client communication and relationship building
Strong drafting and file management
Confidence running matters independently
Sound judgement and attention to detail
An empathetic, practical, solutions-focused approach
Current Queensland admission and practising certificate
