Due to continued growth, we're looking for an experiencedIndustrial Electrician / Field Service Technicianto join the Melbourne team.
You'll work across major customer sites, keeping automated systems operating safely and efficiently and becoming a key technical contact for customers when systems need to be maintained, repaired or improved.

What you'll be doing
This is a genuinely hands-on field role.
You'll be responsible for keeping automated systems operating safely and efficiently across customer sites.
Your day-to-day work will include:




Troubleshooting and repairing electrical and mechanical faults on automated equipment.
Attending breakdowns and working quickly to minimise customer downtime.
Carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance.
Supporting equipment installations, upgrades and modifications.
Working with automated conveyors, material handling systems and associated equipment.
Diagnosing faults using electrical schematics, PLCs and control systems.
Working with mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
Completing maintenance activities through computerised maintenance systems.
Providing a high level of customer service while representing the business on site.
Participating in an on-call roster and overtime as required.
Working across day and afternoon shifts depending on customer requirements.
What we're looking for
We're looking for an electrician who enjoys solving problems and isn't afraid to get hands-on.
You'll ideally have:
AustralianA Grade Electrical Licence- restricted electrical licences will also be considered.
Industrial electrical experience in manufacturing, automation, logistics, material handling or a similar environment.
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
Experience working with automated equipment,



conveyors or industrial machinery.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
Experience withSiemens S7 PLCs and WinCC SCADAwill be highly regarded.
Exposure to mechanical and pneumatic systems.
Hydraulic experience would be advantageous.
Experience using a CMMS or computerised maintenance system.
Current Australian driver's licence.
Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
Ability to work independently and make decisions in a field-based environment.
