Lead an established North Brisbane practice with the backing of a national group.

We’re looking for an experienced Practice Lead or senior accounting leader with a proven track record of leading teams, managing clients and driving the performance and growth of a practice.

n

This is an prospect for someone with a proven track record in public practice and leadership to take ownership of an established North Brisbane team and client base - while having the support and resources of a growing national group behind you.

n

You’ll have the local relationships and autonomy of an established practice, backed by national Operations, HR and Finance teams, an experienced onsite Office Manager, shared training and development, and a wider network of accounting professionals.

The Role n

Managing and growing a portfolio of clients
n
Preparing and reviewing financial statements and tax returns
n
Providing trusted accounting and business advice
n
Leading, mentoring and developing the team
n
Reviewing work and maintaining high technical standards
n
Managing workflow, deadlines and client relationships
n
Identifying new business and growth opportunities




n
Taking ownership of practice performance and revenue
n

About You nn
Strong Australian public practice experience
n
CA or CPA qualification
n
A proven track record managing clients and delivering quality work
n
Experience leading, mentoring and developing accounting staff
n
Solid technical accounting and tax knowledge
n
Excellent client and communication skills
n
Commercial awareness and a growth mindset
n
The confidence and initiative to make decisions and take ownership
n
Strong Xero and cloud accounting experience
n
