40-Hour Week | 4 Days On, 3 Days Off
BTP is looking for an experiencedMachinistto join our Hazelmere workshop on our permanentPM Shift.
This is a full-time40-hour week worked across four days, giving you a consistentMonday to Thursday rosterand athree-day weekend every week.
Shift hours:
Monday to Thursday
3:00pm – 1:30am
Friday, Saturday & Sunday off

What You'll Be Doing
As part of our Production team, you'll carry out repairs to earthmoving equipment components and related products, including hydraulic cylinder components.
Your work will include:
OperatingCNC lathes
Operatingmanual lathes and milling machines
OperatingCNC Vertical Machining Centres
Working withvertical and horizontal borers
Machining and repairing earthmoving equipment components
Machining and repairing hydraulic cylinder components
Completing accurate job documentation and daily timesheets
Working closely with the wider Production team to meet workshop requirements
Maintaining high standards of workmanship, safety and housekeeping
Supporting and mentoring apprentices where required
The role has a strong focus on safe work practices, including pre-starts, Take 5s/JHAs, hazard identification and adherence to BTP procedures and Critical Risk Standards.
What We're Looking For
You'll bring:
AnAustralian-recognised Trade Certificate
Previous machining experience
Experience inCaterpillar and Komatsu machine component repair and maintenancehighly regarded
Experience operating CNC and/or conventional machining equipment
The ability to confidently interpretengineering drawings
A strong understanding of workplace safety requirements
The ability to work effectively within a team environment
Good written and verbal communication skills
A strong commitment to quality workmanship
DG Licence or greater
