Job Description

Cabra Projects Pty. Ltd is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter to join our busy team in a full time position. The role involves construction, erection, installation, renovation and repair of structures and fixtures made from wood, plywood, wallboard and other materials.

Key responsibilities n

n
Construction, erection, installation, renovation and repair of structures and fixtures made from wood, plywood, wallboard and other materials
n
Studying drawings and specifications to determine required materials, dimensions and installation procedures
n
Measuring, cutting and shaping timber and other materials
n
Ordering and selecting timbers and other required materials
n
Assembling and nailing cut and shaped components
n
Assembling prepared wood to form structures and fittings ready for installation
n
Constructing and installing building frameworks and structures
n




Installing and repairing fixtures and other carpentry components
n
Using hand and power tools safely and effectively
n

About you nn
Certificate III trade qualification in Carpentry and/or a minimum of three years' relevant work experience
n
Demonstrated experience working as a Carpenter
n
Construction White Card
n
Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
n
Positive practical carpentry skills and attention to detail
n
Physical fitness and ability to pass a pre-employment medical
n
A solid commitment to health, safety and environment (HSE)
n
Ability to pass random drug and alcohol testingAbility to work effectively independently and as part of a team
n
