SQL Database Administrator (DBA) – NV1 Clearance
We are seeking an experienced SQL Database Administrator (DBA) to support and maintain secure enterprise database environments.
This role will suit a hands-on DBA with strong Microsoft SQL Server experience who is comfortable working within complex ICT environments.
Key Responsibilities
Administer, maintain and support Microsoft SQL Server databasesMonitor database performance, availability and capacityUndertake database backups, restores, patching and upgradesTroubleshoot database incidents and performance issuesSupport database security, access controls and compliance requirementsAssist with database migrations, deployments and environment improvementsWork closely with infrastructure,
application and development teams
Skills & Experience
Solid experience as a SQL Server DBAExperience with SQL Server administration, monitoring and performance tuningStrong knowledge of backup, recovery and high-availability solutionsExperience troubleshooting complex database issuesUnderstanding of database security and access managementExperience working within enterprise or government ICT environments will be highly regarded
Mandatory Requirement
Current Australian Government NV1 Security Clearance
