nThe Role n
n

n
Manage day-to-day operations across the orchard — horticulture, irrigation/fertigation, spraying and harvest
n
n
Lead a strong team including an assistant manager, irrigation manager, maintenance manager and 10 orchard operations staff.
n
n
Manage safety performance and build a solid safety culture, including with contract harvest labour
n
n
Own the farm's operating budget and report on performance
n
n

n
nAbout You n
n

n
n
5+ years managing an irrigated perennial tree crop as a Farm Manager, 2IC or Irrigation Manager
n
n




Robust, resilient leadership - this is a big site and it needs someone who leads from the front
n
n
Solid budgeting and financial reporting skills
n
n
Almond experience is not essential - we welcome backgrounds across horticulture, including viticulture, provided the leadership and irrigation fundamentals are there
n
