$43–$47/hr + penalties & allowances, depending on experience$50+ transition rate following successful transition into the roleTransport expenses coveredFuel card provided once established in the roleCompany ute provided for full-time operatorsImmediate starts availableOngoing projects across Brisbane, Gold Coast & Sunshine CoastLong-term employment opportunitiesThe role:You'll be completing detailed civil excavation and final trim works across a range of projects, including:Final trim excavation to within 30mm toleranceWorking to levels, grades, plans and specificationsDetailed excavation around footings, trenches and drainageStripping footings and formation preparationWorking safely in tight proximity to underground services, machinery and site personnelOperating 5T, 14T and 20T excavatorsLoading trucks and moving materialsAssisting with general civil labouring when requiredWhat we're looking forExcavator RII – mandatoryCurrent White CardProven civil construction excavator experienceHands-on final trim and detailed excavation experienceStrong understanding of levels, grades and tolerancesConfidence operating smaller excavators, including 5T machinesGPS experience highly regarded, but not essentialOwn reliable transportWillingness to travel between SEQ projects as requiredReliable, safety-focused and willing to jump off the machine when requiredThis isn't a bulk earthworks-only role.We're looking for operators with practical civil final trim experience who can confidently work to levels and achieve an accurate finish.
