Make a difference every day.Chef ManagerPermanent | Full Time | Monday-Friday, 6:30am-3:00pm$90,000 + super | 40 hours per weekWe're looking for an experienced Chef Manager to take the lead in the kitchen at Monte Sant' Angelo Mercy College in North Sydney.This is a role where your skills go beyond the plate.
You'll be responsible for delivering fresh, quality food every day while helping create a welcoming, well-run kitchen environment for students, staff and your team.
As this is an educational environment, you can enjoy something that's increasingly hard to find in hospitality - a Monday to Friday roster, daytime hours and your evenings and weekends back.Job DescriptionWhat you'll be responsible forYou'll take ownership of the day-to-day kitchen operation, including:Leading and managing kitchen operations with confidence and carePreparing fresh, nutritious and high-quality foodDelivering bulk cooking for a busy education environmentWorking hands-on across all areas of the kitchenProviding friendly, professional customer serviceMaintaining high standards of food safety, cleanliness and presentationWorking independently and using your initiative to keep service running smoothlySupporting a positive, respectful and inclusive kitchen cultureDesired Skills and ExperienceWhat we're looking forWe're interested in great chefs and great people - whether you're an experienced Chef Manager ready for your next challenge,
