Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, the Finance Manager will drive weekly, monthly, and annual financial reporting and analysis, and manage a team.
The role will business partner with various internal stakeholders and be pivotal in providing accurate and effective financial reporting and insights to assist with strategic decision-making.Key ResponsibilitiesManage a team or 3 direct reportsTrusted business partner role supporting the General Manager and leadership team with analysis and financial insightsStrategic liaison with key internal stakeholdersConduct weekly cash forecasting and present to the management teamPerform cash flow and financial analysis,
highlighting movements and variances to forecastsComplete ad hoc financial modelling to support the business with growth opportunitiesOversee the financial accounting function including month-end and year-end financial reportingAssist the Management team with long term budgeting and forecasting processPrepare monthly management reports and board packs for the businessManage Work In Progress (WIP) including accounting, reporting and analysisOversee daily cash management, optimising cashflow for working capital needsLead the annual year-end compliance process and be the primary point of contact with external accountants and advisorsBackgroundConstruction industry/property development industry background in a similar senior finance leader roleOpen to 1st mover manager level from 2nd tier accounting firms (business services).
