This 12-month opportunity will see you play a key role in implementing our new payroll system, while contributing to broader team projects and enhancing the employee experience.We are seeking a Payroll Advisor to join our office-based team on a 12-month fixed term contract.
This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a varied role that combines payroll delivery with project involvement across People & Culture.Reporting to the Head of People & Culture, the successful applicant will be responsible for:Taking a lead role in processing payroll in an accurate and timely manner to meet payroll deadlines in line with relevant P&C; standards and proceduresSupporting the migration and implementation of our new payroll systemEnsuring payroll compliance with legislative and organisational requirementsSupporting the employee life cycle, including onboarding, probation/performance processes, and offboardingProviding broader People and Culture support to the P&C; team, including but not limited to,
administration of projectsSkills & Qualifications required to be successful in this role:Relevant qualification in payroll administration or other applicable certificationMinimum 2-3 years of experience in a payroll roleProven ability to interpret legislation, including the Fair Work Act, Awards, Enterprise Agreements and company policies and proceduresStrong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and high-quality outcomesA proactive and adaptable approach, with the ability to work collaboratively within a teamExperience with the Definitiv payroll system (highly desirable).
