Our client, a leading national supplier of frames and trusses, is expanding their team at their St Mary’s site. They are looking for motivated and reliable Yard Hands with a Forklift License to join their growing operation. No forklift experience is required – training will be provided!

Great Pay: $36.83per hour + overtime and penalties

Consistent Hours: Monday–Friday (occasional Saturday OT when required)

The Role:

n

As a Yard Hand, you’ll play an important part in the day-to-day running of the yard. Duties include:

n

n
Manual handling of timber and wood products
n
Loading and unloading trucks
n
Preparing and measuring materials for dispatch
n




Forklift operations (when required)
n
Using basic power tools
n
General yard and housekeeping duties
n

n

Please note: This is a hands-on, physical role with regular manual handling – you will be required to work both on and off the forklift.

n

What We’re Looking For:

n

n
Valid Forklift License (experience not required ) – training provided
n
Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
n
Reliable, punctual, and motivated with a strong work ethic
n
Basic math skills (for measuring and preparing orders)
n
Experience with power tools (advantageous)
n
Own reliable transport
n
Ability to commence immediately
n
PPE: Steel cap boots & hi-vis clothing (other PPE will be advised if required)
n

As per the application process, all successful applicants will be required to undergo a Pre Employment Medical (conducted by our Onsite Occupational Nurse during the interview stage) which includes a Drug and Alcohol test.
