Their Sydney office is now looking for a senior associate lawyer to join their corporate & commercial team.

About the role
n
We are actively seeking a senior associate with expertise in corporate & commercial law to join a well-regarded Sydney-based team.
n
This unique opportunity involves working on a diverse range of private M&A; deals, with a strong focus on the automotive sector, alongside general commercial and corporate advisory matters.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Work directly with clients and collaborate closely with partners
n
Provide supervision, support, and mentoring to junior lawyers
n
Handle private M&A; transactions, including drafting and negotiating business sale agreements, shareholder agreements,
loan and security documents, and other transactional contracts
n
Deliver corporate advisory services, including advice on corporate governance and directors’ duties, reviewing general commercial contracts, and providing guidance on franchise and agency agreements within the motor vehicle sector
n
n
About you
n
You will have 5+ years PAE in commercial and M&A; work with solid attention to detail.
n
Additionally, you will have:
n
n
Experience with property transactions and commercial lease experience
n
The ability to balance legal and commercial considerations in negotiations and drafting
n
Positive interpersonal skills to deal effectively with clients and other parties
n
The ability to lead and mentor junior lawyers
n
