ibis Styles Brisbane Elizabeth Street is seeking a reliable Part-time Cook to join our energetic kitchen team.

Prepare and maintain all required mise en place to ensure efficient kitchen operations and service delivery.
n
Maintain a clean, protected, and hygienic work environment while consistently meeting high standards of food quality and presentation.
n
Follow stock rotation procedures and minimise food wastage through effective inventory management practices.
n
Ensure designated kitchen areas are cleaned and maintained to the highest standard at all times.
n
Clean, maintain, and monitor kitchen equipment, promptly reporting any faults or maintenance issues to the Executive Chef.
n
Receive and check deliveries, unpack produce, and store stock appropriately in accordance with food safety requirements.
n




Perform general kitchen cleaning and housekeeping duties to support a secure and organised workplace.

Qualifications nn
Full Australian Working Rights - this role is not available for sponsorship
n
Trade qualification or pursuing one in Cookery - Certificate III and above.
n
Passion for cooking and a genuine interest in building a career within the culinary industry.
n
Eagerness to learn, develop new skills, and adapt to a dynamic, quick-paced kitchen environment.
n
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays, in line with operational requirements.
