Consultant Psychiatrist (Adult &/or Child and Adolescent) – Northam, WA
We are currently partnering with a leading regional health service in Northam to recruitConsultant Psychiatristsacross Adult and Child & Adolescent Mental Health.

The Prospect
Join theWheatbelt Mental Health Service, delivering comprehensive, community-based psychiatric care across a diverse population.
Work acrossAdult, CAMHS, Youth, Aboriginal and Older Adult Mental Health programs
Provide specialist assessment, diagnosis, and treatment in acommunity-focused model of care
Play a key role inclinical leadership, governance, and service development
Collaborate with a strongmultidisciplinary team(psychologists, nurses, social workers, Aboriginal health workers)
Opportunity foroutreach workacross surrounding sites including Narrogin, Merredin, and Gingin
Salary & Perks
Total package:approx.
$412,000 – $523,000+ p.a.(inclusive of 12% super + PD allowance)
Additional consultant range:$333,000 – $448,000
Sessional rates:$790 – $1,003 per session
4 weeks annual leave + 3 weeks professional development leave
5 weeks overseas PD leave after 5 years
Regional incentives includingdistrict allowance, accommodation support, and relocation assistance
Flexible working options:full-time, part-time, or sessional
Strong focus onteaching, supervision, and ongoing professional development

Requirements
Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (or equivalent)
Eligibility forspecialist registration with AHPRA
Experience inadult and/or child & adolescent psychiatry
Open to UK/Ireland trained psychiatrists via theExpedited Specialist Pathway
