Many of our team members have built long-term careers with us, and we are proud to promote from within wherever possible and create an environment where hospitality professionals can genuinely thrive.As a family-owned and operated venue with four generations of pub industry history behind us, we understand the importance of strong leadership, teamwork and creating a workplace people actually enjoy coming to.About The RoleWe are seeking an experienced and people-focused Approved Manager on Duty to join our management team in a permanent full-time position.This is a hands-on operational leadership role responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of the venue, supporting our team and ensuring our customers consistently receive the high standard of hospitality the Full Moon is known for.Working across our diverse venue operations,
you'll lead teams through busy services, support supervisors and team members, respond confidently to operational and customer matters and ensure the venue operates safely, professionally and in accordance with our policies and regulatory obligations.Our Duty Managers are visible leaders.
You'll be expected to be present on the floor, build strong relationships with our team and customers, communicate clearly and calmly, and lead by example.We are looking for someone who understands that great venue management isn't simply about running a shift – it's about creating an environment where both customers and team members feel welcome, supported and valued.Your Shift May Include:Leading the venue and coordinating operational teams throughout your shiftOpening and closing the venue and completing associated management proceduresSupporting restaurant, bar, gaming, TAB and other operational areas as requiredLeading, supporting and motivating supervisors and team members during serviceCoordinating staffing and responding to operational requirements throughout the shiftMaintaining exceptional standards of customer service, presentation and venue cleanlinessManaging customer feedback, complaints and service recovery professionallySupporting the training, coaching and development of team membersMonitoring responsible service of alcohol and responsible gambling requirementsEnsuring venue policies, procedures and regulatory requirements are consistently followedManaging cash handling, reconciliations and other shift-related administrative responsibilitiesResponding appropriately to incidents,
