Our client, one of the leading providers for the fresh poultry industry in Australia, is seeking process workers for the slaughter department at their plant, located in Breakwater, Geelong.

To be considered for this role you must be reliable and enthusiastic for early morning starts.
About the role; n
n
Hanging chickens onto overhead conveyor line
n
Observing live chickens
n
Monitoring of the eviscerator machine
n
Machine operator and trouble shooting
n
Cleaning of slaughter area
n
Stacking and washing crates and bins
n
Shift times: 2:15am – 10:45am / 11:45am – 8:30pm
n
$43.32 per hour + allowances + super
n
A basic knowledge of the food manufacturing setting with HACCP or food handling certificates would be an advantage.
n
Ideally you will: nn
Be physically fit
n
Able to stand for long periods of time
n
Happy to work on your own
n
Comfortable with repetitive tasks and movements
n
Able to lift up to 25kg
n
Forklift licence and experience desirable but not essential
n
n
