Job Description

Hunter City Motor Group are seeking an experienced and motivated Vehicle Brand Manager to take responsibility for the performance of Cessnock MG, growth and day-to-day operations of an allocated vehicle brand within our dealership.

This is a key leadership position for an automotive professional who can drive sales, develop a high-performing team and build strong relationships with customers, manufacturers and key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities n

n
Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the vehicle brand
n
Drive new and used vehicle sales performance and profitability
n
Develop and implement strategies to achieve monthly and annual targets
n
Lead, motivate and coach the sales team
n
Monitor sales performance, KPIs, margins and inventory levels
n
Maintain robust relationships with the manufacturer and brand representatives
n
Manage vehicle stock, demonstrators and showroom presentation
n
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention
n
Identify opportunities to increase market share and sales performance
n
Oversee advertising, promotions and local marketing initiatives
n
Ensure dealership policies, manufacturer standards and compliance requirements are met
n




Prepare and present regular performance reports to senior management
n
Assist with recruitment, training and development of dealership staff
n

About You n

We are looking for someone with:

Previous experience in automotive retail, preferably in a management role
n
Strong knowledge of dealership sales operations
n
Proven ability to lead and motivate a team
n
Solid commercial and financial awareness
n
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
n
A customer-focused approach
n
Strong organisational and time-management skills
n
The ability to work towards and consistently achieve KPIs
n
Current Australian driver's licence
n

Experience managing a vehicle brand, dealership department or sales team will be highly regarded.
