Permanent Part Time: Experienced Medical Allied Health AdministrationPositive Movement, incorporating Ascot Physiotherapy/Boyd Physiotherapy is seeking an experienced and skilled Medical Allied Health Administrator to join our team in a permanent part time capacity.
This critical role will be based in our Ascot office and as required assisting in our CBD office.
The successful applicant will provide essential administrative support to ensure the smooth and efficient running of our physiotherapy practices.This position requires availability for 22 hours per week.This is a job-share position.
As the business requires, there will be the need to cover for the leave entitlements of other staff.What you'll be doingManage patient appointments, including scheduling, rescheduling and confirming appointmentsMaintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and medical historiesProcess patient payments, claims and medical rebatesDemonstrate competency with third party providersExperience working with insurance companies, Medicare/DVA, WorkCover providers, and private health funds is requiredLiaise with healthcare providers, insurance companies and other stakeholdersProvide exceptional customer service to patients and address any queries or concernsAssist with the management of clinic supplies and inventoryContribute to the overall administrative operations of the practiceWhat we're looking forSignificant experience in a medical or allied health administration roleExperience in any medical practice administration is acceptableExperience in allied health practices, all healthcare settings including hospitals is essentialMinimum 5 years of experience in medical or allied health administrationStrong customer service and communication skillsExcellent time management and organisational abilitiesProficiency in using medical software, currently we are using PPMP software and experience with this is preferred but not essential.Familiarity with healthcare and medical billing processesA keen eye for detail and the ability to work accurately under pressureA collaborative and proactive approach to supporting the broader team.The ability to cover for other staff as required due to leave entitlements.Australian work rights are required for this positionWhat we offerAt Positive Movement incorporating Ascot Physiotherapy/Boyd Physiotherapy, we are committed to providing a supportive and flexible work environment that enables our team to thrive.About usPositive Movement, incorporating Ascot Physiotherapy/Boyd Physiotherapy is a leading provider of physiotherapy and allied health services in Brisbane.
