CRU is seeking a dedicated Property Maintenance Assistant to join our Galston Gorge campsite team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to use your maintenance and groundskeeping skills to support a ministry that has been sharing the gospel with young people for generations.What You'll Be DoingWorking as part of the Property Team, you will help ensure the campsite grounds, facilities, and activity areas are safe, attractive, and ready for guests.
This hands-on role is varied and offers the opportunity to make a tangible difference every day.Key responsibilities include:Grounds maintenance, including lawn mowing and gardeningGeneral repairs and maintenancePainting and decoratingBasic carpentry and plumbing tasksPreparing camp facilities and activities for guest useEnsuring the site remains safe, functional,



and well presentedSupporting other operational areas as requiredWe're Looking for Someone WithA mature Christian faith and alignment with CRU's Basis of BeliefHave practical experience maintaining buildings, grounds, or facilitiesBe able to work both independently and as part of a teamHold a current driver's licenceCommunicate effectively with colleagues, guests, and supervisorsHave a positive attitude and a genuine desire to serve othersTake pride in maintaining high standards of presentationAbility to perform the physical demands associated with the position in a safe and productive mannerCurrent First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)About UsCRU is a Bible-based, interdenominational Christian youth organisation whose mission is to help students in independent schools across Australia know the good news of Jesus, nurture Christians, encourage church membership and train young leaders for a lifetime of servant leadership.
