Working alongside the Head Chef, you'll assist with food preparation, meal service, stock handling and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and food safety.

hygiene and organisationProviding friendly and professional service to guestsSupporting the catering team wherever neededWorking hours will be based on operational requirements and may include early morning, daytime, evening, weekend and public holiday shifts.
This flexibility helps us meet the varying needs of guests, sporting teams and events at the Mudgee Team Training Village.About youWe're looking for people who are reliable, hardworking and enjoys being part of a team.
You'll be comfortable working in a busy kitchen, able to follow instructions and procedures and take pride in maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment.You'll need:Current NSW Food Safety Handling Certificate.Current Class C Driver Licence.Relevant commercial kitchen experience, including food preparation, service and food safety.Ability to follow instructions and procedures and work efficiently in a busy kitchen.Good communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work independently and in a team.Reliable and physically capable of prolonged standing, lifting, carrying and repetitive tasks.Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings and weekendsPaid Working with Children Check (WWCC)The hourly rates for this casual position are as follows:$***** per hour (inclusive of 25% casual loading) — Monday to Friday$***** per hour — Saturday$***** per hour — SundayThe casual loading is calculated on the ordinary hourly rate and not paid on penalties or overtime.Please note that you may also be entitled to additional shift penalties, where applicable, in accordance with the relevant Award.Applications close on Tuesday,6th October at 11:59 pm
