Public Sector People are partnering with a Not-for-Profit Community Housing Provider seeking a dedicated Property Coordinator to join their team on a full time, permanent basis, based in East Perth.This role is ideal for someone with experience across property, maintenance coordination or property administration who enjoys being the person who keeps things moving, managing maintenance requests, coordinating contractors, processing work orders and invoices, and providing a high level of service to residents.You will play an key role in coordinating the end-to-end maintenance process, ensuring requests are followed up, contractors are engaged and payments are processed accurately and on time.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate end-to-end routine and cyclical maintenance requestsRespond to tenant, contractor, supplier and internal queries relating to property maintenanceTroubleshoot maintenance queries and provide clear, practical support over the phoneRaise and process work orders and purchase orders within delegationCoordinate contractors and follow up outstanding maintenance requestsProcess invoices accurately and ensure contractor payments are completed in a timely mannerCoordinate scheduled and cyclical maintenance requirementsMaintain accurate property data,
records and reporting across relevant systems and spreadsheetsProcess utility accounts and relevant rebates where requiredManage competing priorities and respond calmly to urgent or unexpected maintenance mattersWork closely with Property Officers, Housing Officers, contractors and other internal stakeholdersAbout YouExperience in property coordination, property administration, maintenance coordination or a transferable environmentExperience working with maintenance scheduling, work orders, purchase orders and invoicesConfident and professional phone manner, with the ability to troubleshoot queries and have challenging conversations when requiredStrong attention to detail and accurate data entry skillsHighly organised with the ability to manage high volumes of work without compromising serviceStrong communication and relationship management skillsConfident using Microsoft Office, particularly ExcelComfortable working with tenants and people experiencing housing stress or other vulnerabilitiesResilient & solutions focused and able to remain calm when managing competing priorities or urgent issuesThis is a full time, Monday to Friday role, working 8.00am–4.00pm, with the opportunity to work from home up to two days per week subject to approval following probation.
